No need to print, sign and scan again
When you open a PDF on this site, you can mark directly on top of its pages. There are six tools: highlighter, text, rectangle, ellipse, line and pen. You draw a signature with the pen.
How to sign
- Choose the PDF file.
- Go to the page you need to sign.
- Choose "Pen" in the tools and draw over the signature line. A tablet or a laptop touchpad works better than a mouse.
- If you also need to write a date or your name, choose the "Text" tool and click where you want it. An input box opens with the hint "Enter the note text", and whatever you type there goes into that spot as is.
- Press "Download with annotations".
In the downloaded PDF, the annotations are burned into the page. Once saved, you cannot remove just the signature, so keep the original file.
If you added text, a font file is downloaded once when you save. If you are offline, saving fails — check your connection and press it again. This does not apply if you only drew lines.
This is not a digital signature
The signature you add here is the same as copying a pen signature from paper. It is not a certified digital signature that seals the document with a certificate. If a document legally requires a certificate-based signature, you need to go through that process separately.
