For a Word document, start with "Arrange pages"
This article is about PDFs. A Word document (.docx) has no fixed pages, so to move whole pages you first need to convert it to PDF (you can change the order in Word too, but by cutting and pasting content, not pages). With the Word document open, press "Arrange pages" and it is converted to PDF and goes straight to the screen described below.
Drag to move
In the "Edit pages" tab, drag a page thumbnail and drop it where you want it to change the order. If you select several pages and drag, the selected pages move together as a group.
If a page has to go far and dragging is awkward, use "Move to position". Enter the position number for the selected pages and they move there.
Rotate sideways or upside-down pages
- Select the pages to rotate (for several, hold ⌘ or Ctrl to select more).
- Press "Rotate left 90°" or "Rotate right 90°".
- For an upside-down page, press the same button twice to get 180°.
- Press "Download".
The rotation is saved in the downloaded file as is. It is not just rotated for display on screen.
When you want to clear the selection
Press "Clear selection" on the right of the toolbar to clear everything you selected. How many pages you selected is shown next to it, like "Pages: 6 · 2 selected".
