For a Word document, start with "Arrange pages"
This article is about PDFs. To merge a Word document (.docx) with another document or extract part of it, you first need to convert it to PDF. With the Word document open, press "Arrange pages" and, after conversion, you go straight to the screen described below.
Append another PDF
- Open the PDF and go to the "Edit pages" tab.
- Press "Add PDF or image" and choose the files to append. You can choose several at once.
- Drag the added pages to where you want them.
- Press "Download".
Photos in two formats, PNG and JPG, can be added with the same button. Each photo becomes one page.
Two ways to extract only the pages you need
With pages selected, press "Save selection separately" to download a new PDF containing only the selected pages. The original file is left as it is.
If there are so many pages that selecting them one by one is tedious, use "Extract range". Enter something like 1-3,7 and you get pages 1, 2, 3 and 7.
If you enter the range wrong, you are told "Could not read the page numbers". Use only commas and hyphens.
